These colorways were specially dyed to celebrate the Fiberworld Show! There are just a few of each so collect them while you can! All are naturally dyed with some of the dye materials from my garden. There may be a few bits of dye materials still attached to the yarn depending on the dye process used-just pick them off.
Meadow: on Sock. 100 g skein /436 yds. Non-superwash Merino 2 ply fingering weight-hand wash, air dry to prevent felting.Non-muesling South American Merino.Perfect for socks, also shawls and sweaters-very soft but sturdy.
Autum Maples: on Zebra Crossing fingering. This listing is for 1 skein.Peruvian Highland wool is lovely and springy , perfect for sweaters , socks, hats,colour work etc. 100% Peruvian Highland Wool. Non superwash, botanically dyed. 2ply yarn. 437 yds/100g skein
WILD Flowers: Wisp mohair silk lace. This listing is for 1 skein. 459 yds/50 grams. Non superwash, botanically dyed. Laceweight, produced in Peru. 72% Kid Mohair, 28% Mulberry silk. Perfect for lightweight shawls or using held together with another yarn for a fabric with a delicate halo.
Minor bleeding may occur on first wash. Each skein is unique, purchase multi-skein projects together & alternate rows. Monitors will vary.
You can prolong the life of all textiles and colors by washing by hand in cool water and avoiding exposure to strong, direct, prolonged light. For yarn, air drying on a flat surface will prevent stretching and sagging. A neutral wool wash is recommended. We currently use non scented Eucalan.
