This listing is for 1 skein.

Non superwash, botanically dyed

Perfect for sweaters, accessories, and color work.

4 ply. 123 yd/50g

**IMPORTANT NOTE** Some of the more recently dyed skeins are 100 g. I thought I would switch over to this size then decided not to. Their yardage is 246yds/100g. The price is also doubled, to $21.00

The wool for Highland DK comes from small flocks in the vast and hard environment of the Peruvian Highlands, and is milled in the Highlands as well. Visit www.chesterwool.com/new-blog to learn more about how purchasing this yarn supports small Peruvian farmers.

Minor bleeding may occur on first wash. Each skein is unique, purchase multi-skein projects together & alternate rows. Monitors will vary.

Dyes used include Indigo, Goldenrod, Cochineal, Madder, Black Walnut, and others.

The hat is Merge by Emily Greene, shown in color way Light Indigo.

You can prolong the life of all textiles and colors by washing by hand in cool water and avoiding exposure to strong, direct, prolonged light. For yarn, air drying on a flat surface will prevent stretching and sagging. A neutral wool wash is recommended. We currently use non scented Eucalan.
