Romeldale Sheep is an American fine-wool breed, and the California Variegated Mutant (CVM) is its multi-colored derivative. Both the CVM and the Romeldale are unique to the US andendangered. Learn more about these rare sheep breeds here

The wool for this yarn came from Mystic Rose Reds farm in Oregon and Oak Creek Farm in Iowa. Flora Adora Fibers sorted the fleeces and did some of the washing before sending for processing at Round Barn Fiber Mill in Illinois. You may find the odd bit of vegetation left in this yarn.

Wash by hand in cool water and avoid exposure to strong, direct, prolonged light. Air drying on a flat surface to prevent stretching and sagging. A neutral wool wash is recommended, such as Eucalan or Orvus.

Sweater shown is Polina Pullover by Teti Lutska.
