·      100% Coopworth Wool: raised on Hidden Valley Farm in Wisconsin

·      This yarn is not dyed: grayish tan with a slight halo and sheen. 

·      Semi-Worsted Spun: at a small mill in Michigan

·      About Coopworth Sheep: the breed was developed in the 1950’s using Border Leicester and Romney. The fiber has lengthy staples, luster & good. There is a crisp hand which gives definition to the stitches.

·      Minimally Processed Yarn: you might find a little vegetable matter in the yarn.

·      Nonsuperwash: not treated with plastic or other chemicals, so needs to be washed by hand in cool water, then dried flat

 

Colors are shown as accurately as possible but monitors will vary.

Wash by hand in cool water then dry on flat surface.  Using a neutral pH wool wash is recommended. Examples are Orvus, Ecover and other liquid dishwashing detergents, various wool washes. 

 Avoid exposure to strong, direct, prolonged light.
