100% wool: Cheviot/ Shetland cross

The fleeces for this yarn came from 10 Cat Farm in Ohio. Cara and Cricket lovingly raise Shetland, Cheviot and other sheep in their small farm. The wool was then custom spun at Belle Alto Fiber Mill in PA.

Each skein has been hand painted with botanical dyes that are both beautiful and color fast.
This is a very small, limited edition batch of yarn

Minor bleeding may occur on first wash. Each skein is unique, purchase multi-skein projects together & alternate rows. Colors are shown as accurately as possible, but Monitors will vary.

You can prolong the life of all textiles and colors by washing by hand in cool water and avoiding exposure to strong, direct, prolonged light. For yarn, air drying on a flat surface will prevent stretching and sagging. A neutral wool wash is recommended, such as Eucalan.
